This Indian Healing Clay is made of 100% natural calcium bentonite clay, that, when mixed with water (Or I like to use ACV for this face mask) gives a bit of a charge and helps to remove toxins from the skin. (We all know how much I love to remove those toxins!)

Why I Started Using This Face Mask

So starting about 2 years ago now, I began developing these tiny little bumps all over my face. It started mostly just with the sides of my face and they would come and go. And then I started getting them on my forehead and they would NOT disappear. No matter what I did! And I mean, I’m someone who really does my best to take care of my skin and I’ve never had to deal with acne so this was very hard for me.

I chalked it up to the change in climate since I just left my life in a very dry place and moved to a place with insane humidity. I barely wore makeup, cleansed well, double cleansed, used gentle exfoliators, toned…. I babied this skin!

I had seen this mask before and figured I may as well give it a try. It’s only $12 on Amazon, it mixes with ACV which we all love… I mean, what did I have to lose? WELL. This gem is a new staple!

I instantly saw results and I continue to do this mask weekly (or more if I feel like I need it!) I haven’t had those same issues with my skin ever since because the moment I start to see those pesky little bumps again (I know, I should probably get tested for an intolerance or something), I apply this face mask and I’m good to go!

How to Use This Magical Face Mask

Mix the clay with a small amount of apple cider vinegar to form a paste. Apply it to your skin and let sit for 10 minutes.

The best part:
Your skin will actually begin to pulse. Yes, PULSE! That’s the mask doing its magic. Pulling all that shit out of your pores. I find the dirtier my skin has been, the more of a pulse I get.

The mask will begin to feel super tight and almost crack. Simply wash off with warm water. You may get some redness (I always do because my skin is just always annoyingly red) but this goes away within an hour, max!

I find it best to follow up with a very simple skincare routine. I mean, you’ve just sucked all these impurities out of your skin, why add them back in? Keep it as natural as possible. I love to just slather my skin in rose hip seed oil. Typically, I’ll do this mask before bed. So when I wake up, my skin looks flawless!
