Rejuveniqe Oil AKA Miracle Oil
AKA Unicorn Tears
If you follow along on Instagram, you’ve most definitely heard me talk about Rejuveniqe Oil. I slather myself in it. My hair, my skin, my lips, my babies.
And I know, there’s a million other oils on the market. When I first heard about the oil I was like “yeah yeah yeah another oil. I already use rosehip seed and coconut oil what else could I need?”
OH! And then when I found out that it’s for your hair…
ME: Oh, I have oily hair, I don’t put oils in it
THEM: Oh but this is fine in oily hair. It washes right out.
ME: Oh yeah that’s great but it won’t work for me
Oh my gosh the things I laugh at myself for now.
Okay, so let’s get to the point. What it is? Why is it so great? You’re about to hear just why I am so obsessed and once you try it, you will be too and then we can laugh over wine about how we though an oil wouldn’t be good for our hair.
What is Rejuveniqe Oil?
“A blend of 13+ Natural Plant and Essential Oils rich in omega fatty acids, antioxidants and nutrients highly compatible with the skin and hair”
Basically, it’s a multivitamin for your skin and hair. But like, the best, cleanest, most effective multivitamin out there.
How is it any different than every other oil in the salon?
We’ve all heard of Moroccan Oil and Argan Oil and all that. And they’re great if they work for you. I’m not here to knock those products. But here’s the thing: Those oils will sit on top of your hair and make it look shiny. Great, right? Of course. But it’s not actually doing anything to treat your hair.
Rejuveniqe on the other hand is actually the only oil on the market that is clinically proven to have molecules small enough to penetrate the hair right through all 3 layers of the hair shaft – right to the cortex. This means it is providing nourishment to your hair, scalp, and skin from the inside out. Treating the hair, not just making it shiny.
What does it do?
I mean, where do I even start? First of all, it provides nourishment, prevents against anti-aging, and adds volume and long-lasting shine to your hair.
But get this: Have you read my post on exactly how Monat works? In there I talk about how our shampoos are designed to shed any dead hairs that have been stuck in clogged follicles, therefore preventing regrowth to come in. What Rejuveniqe does while it’s on the scalp will actually work like a glue to help pull the detached hair back to it’s follicle (and therefore, it’s blood/nutrient supply) IF it can. However, if the hair is too far gone to come back to the blood supply, it will help to remove the build up keeping the follicle clogged so the dead hair can finally shed, and make room for healthy regrowth to come in.
But I have oily hair
Me too, girl. Me too. I swore I wouldn’t be able to use this oil. But actually, what Rejuveniqe does is it balances the ph of your scalp. So if you have oily hair, you actually need this and these benefits! Don’t worry, it’s not difficult to rinse out. It works almost like a dry oil in a way. When you shampoo, you just do so as you normally would. No need for an extra wash or anything. And get this…. your hair will be light, fluffy, and full of volume. You just might even get an extra day between washes.
So how do I use it?
This miracle oil has over 100 uses. But here are some of my fave ways to use it:
+ Overnight scalp treatment – Check out this video to see how I apply it. Leave it overnight and shampoo the next day
+ Mix with daytime moisturizer
+ Layer over top of night cream before bed
+ Lip gloss
+ Cuticle Oil
+ On baby’s eczema and cradle cap
Oh and it’s…
+ silicone free
+ paraben free
+ gluten-free
+ vegan
+ leaping bunny certified
+ non-toxic
+ naturally-based
Monat has a HUGE list of no’s to make sure we’re getting the most effective, cleanest products.
